We are planning on meeting our collaboration partners via WhatsApp-call sometime next week. Sadly it is not possible for us to do a group-call because our collaboration partners (aka relatives) don't speak the same language, so they aren't able to exchange their experiences revolving around plastic waste in the country they live in among eachother. It surely would have been interesting, but always having to translate what each party says, is too demanding and would probably end up in a chaos. The consequence from this for us both, Liranda and Angela, is that we have to contact/call them separately. But thanks to that, it shouldn't be too hard for us to fix an appointment.
For now, we've decided on meeting them once. It is not necessary to contact them weekly, but maybe monthly. We'll just decide spontaneously, depending on how the situation is.

We met on Wednesday evening to discuss the fist steps to our project.
After a short discussion we decided that I will start with the questions for our interview partner Jasmine and Savina will start with some research for the informative part of our work.
In addition to this we discussed about an audio pitch but have not decided yet.

We finished our interview for Jasmine and will ask her the questions until next Friday.
Secondly, we did a short survey for our Swiss people to get as many opinions as possible: https://ee.humanitarianresponse.info/x/FRLhTz3M
and will look at the answers next week.
If we can, we will ask Mr. Gerber if he wants to be a collaboration partner too because he and his wife were in Cuba and ask him the questions that we prepared for Jasmine.

We presented our project idea even further in detail, as we had not done this in such detail before. Since we have also once again reoriented in the topic itself. Together we discussed the next steps and goals. Unfortunately, we could not yet agree on a fixed date for the next meeting, as this is very spontaneous. However, we have been guaranteed that this is certainly possible once a week but somewhat flexible depending on work. Both sides are very excited about how the collaboration will turn out and we are looking forward to the next steps.

We had a meeting earlier this week and we phoned our good friend ( Pacharadanai ) to discuss how to bring the survey among the people, especially the foreigners.
If nothing comes up, we decided to publish the survey next Friday, 13th of January 2022.
We also had a second meeting alone and discussed the possible outcomes of the survey. We want to do the researches next, after evaluating the surveys.

I had some conversations via Face Time with my relatives Ela and Kaan from Turkey, to be more precise Istanbul.
We talked about the topics regarding the work and came to the conclusion that flora and fauna will also be a huge topic.
"On the one hand, it would be better if we didn't exist, but it's sad how our houses are destroyed and we never experience it.
But for that the world would live as it wants without any people who have destroyed nature, so to speak," was Ela's statement.
The question of how the world would be without us will of course be the main topic. Nevertheless, Kaan and Ela want to present another thesis: "What would a big city be like in contrast to a small remote village without people?

Currently we are still in the preparationphase of our project. in the future we will communicate with our collaboration partners via whatsapp and zoom. The main language will be English but if needed Italian will also be used.
Our meetings will most likely take place on Tuesday or Friday evening, the exact time has yet to be agreed. Since Bosnia does not have and Turkey only 2 hours time difference, it will be easier to find an appointment. While talking to each other and exchanging information, we would like to see each other, which is why we want to try our first meeting via whatsapp. Emina will contact her relatives in Bosnia and I will contact my acquaintances in Turkey and we will fix an appointment with them.
The goal of the first meeting is a first mutual getting to know each other and we want cleary explain our project. If there's enough time we would like to say and hear what everyone is expecting and how we can reach that step by step. In the upcoming meetings we will then look at everything more precisely and discuss what the further steps are, what changed since the last meeting etc.
Task 7 - c-project
Unfortunately, we haven't found a collaboration partner. The triathlon team from Tessin hasn't answered our mail. So today, we wrote an e-mail to a triathlon team in Hamburg. Hopefully, they will write us back with a positive response. We think the main part of our communication will be by mail. The aim would be for them to send us their tracking of the training on a regular basis.
I sit down once a week by myself (since I am doing the project by myself) for half an hour and work on my project - like I did today.

I still need to figure out how I want to present the end results, my options are either a podcast or a short film.
Since I am interested in filming and video production in general (besided already having photography as a side job), I am leaning more towards the short film. Either way I need to come up with a short script and structure. I still need to get ahold of my aunt, to scedule an interview. The different time zones make it a bit difficult.
My to do's at the moment are:
- Decide between short film and podcast
- Write a script
- Scedule an interview w/aunt
- Scedule more interviews and further planning: who do I want to also talk to?
- Lecturers who teach computer science
- IT specialists
- Women in the industry
