The distance between Switzerland and Cuba is 7.982 km.
If we take a Boeing 747-400 with 416 Passengers we need 120'000 liter Kerosin to fly this distance. One liter Kerosin is 10 kWh. If we divide it by the amount of passenger that are in the plane we you would calculate as followed:
120'000 liter Kerosin = 288.46 liter Kerosin per passenger
416 passenger
288.46 x 10 kWh/liter = 2'884.61 kWh per passenger
So one person consume 2'884.61 kWh to fly one-way from Switzerland to Cuba.
Our Imagination step was not far from what we know now after our research and talking to two people who got in contact or still are in contact with Cuba.
Mr. Gerber talked to us about the beautiful sides of Cuba and what the benefical parts of the country are. Jasmine confirmed our first impression that we had on the country with the bad food provision and Mr. Gerber briefed us on the political situation in Cuba.
Not all of our Texts are ready yet but we are on a good track. The texts that we already have were reviewed by various people

Our collaboration partner Jasmine lives in Havanna in Cuba. Havanna is 8'237 km away from Wetzikon. With the airplane it would took about 12 hours.

Hello everyone!
We want to introduce our project Idea „Corona situation in Cuba vs. Switzerland“
Our project will contain an interview with a local person who lives in Cuba, Havana and a person who traveled there over Christmas. Like that we can collect as many impressions as possible. In addition to that we will collect facts around the whole Corona Situation in both countries with a part who compares those two countries :)
Today we want to finish our interview for Jasmine and find a date to do it with her.
We will ask people from Switzerland of different ages for their opinion in comparison and when we are finished with that we will get to know vimeo.

We met on Wednesday evening to discuss the fist steps to our project.
After a short discussion we decided that I will start with the questions for our interview partner Jasmine and Savina will start with some research for the informative part of our work.
In addition to this we discussed about an audio pitch but have not decided yet.
Friday, January 21th 2022
We finished our interview for Jasmine and will ask her the questions until next Friday.
Secondly, we did a short survey for our Swiss people to get as many opinions as possible: https://ee.humanitarianresponse.info/x/FRLhTz3M
and will look at the answers next week.
If we can, we will ask Mr. Gerber if he wants to be a collaboration partner too because he and his wife were in Cuba and ask him the questions that we prepared for Jasmine.

Today we will evaluate the information we’ve got from Mr. Gerber and Jasmine and think about how we want to put this into a little project - video or something else…
In addition to this we will write our project Task 8 and publish the survey for the Swiss people.

Today we will continue to do the C-Project Tasks and continue to write on our text. In addition to this we are starting to produce a little video.
My Vision:
I think that the whole corona thing could stick with us for another while.
Because of that I think it is really important to konw as much as we can about the whole virus and how it affects our world in detail.
Thats why I want to accieve with our project to give an idea how the situations are in other countries.
My Imagination:
I can imagne that the situation in Cuba is much worse than in Switzerland. In addition to this i think that the measures are more strickt as well because Switzerland is pretty leasure on that one. Finally, I think that Jasmine will tell us that the circumstances in Cuba that she is living in rigth now are far away from ours. One of the reasons could be the fact that the food provition was already bad beforehand.
