In this showcase I try to illustrate how energy is extracted from the sea 100 years ago and today and in 100 years. For this I will create a comparison. In this comparison both ways to gain energy will be explained and if necessary illustrated with pictures.

Join us on the journey of discovering electricity. The journey from the natural phenomenon of lightning to the Tesla. We will show you where electricity was first discovered and when it was first used. Then we will look at how electricity is used today and how it has changed over time. Finally, we will speculate what the future might bring. Flying electric cars? No more cables? We'll see.
What electricity could be like in 100 years:

In our IDAF, we analyzed solar energy in more detail. We have taken a leap back in time and looked at the origins and how the current economic boom in solar energy came about and have drawn up a vision for the future.More...
«Time is like the wind, it lifts the light and leaves the heavy»
Wind - an important renewable energy source for people and the environment. Since time immemorial, people have tried to harness the wind, be it to start a machine, to boost agriculture or to produce electricity.

To make it easier to understand, we have listed the main events in a timeline and key words, and we will then go into these in more detail.More...
The sun as an energy source is the only reason for life on earth. Over time, humanity has begun to use these in a useful way. Solar as an energy source has become a trend in recent years. It can not only be used in an environmentally friendly way, but also reduces costs. In this small project, we focus on the electricity consumption of an average household and look at how costs can be reduced by using a solar system. However, the development is fascinating and we are curious to see what the future will bring us.

Heating today vs hundred years ago
Fire and fires have existed almost since the beginning of the earth. Lightning and volcanic activity can cause forest fires at any time. Therefore, our forefathers must have known fire as a destroying force of nature. But it was only much later that they began to control fire and use it for their own purposes. Which people they were - for that we must go back to the Stone Age.More...
What is Formula 1?

Formula 1 is the highest-ranking formula racing series organized by the FIA. Formula-1-cars are the fastest regulated road-course racing cars in the world. Especially in the corners the cars reaches breathtaking speeds. The top speed record on a straight 372.5km/h (231.4mph). But also in the corners the drivers reaches speeds from over 300km/h. While the slowest corners is driven with a speed of 50km/h the fastest corner is driven with a speed of 310km/h.More...

A radiated affair (Eine strahlende Angelegenheit)
[Have you ever heard of nuclear energy, radiation, or radioactivity? Of course, you have and if not, then this project will enlighten your mind. I will tell you who Marie Curie was and what she achieved in her life. Moreover, I will show you how nuclear energy is used today, and we are going to have a look of the nuclear accident in Chernobyl. I will also briefly look at the atomic bombs. I will show you how you can calculate nuclear decay with the half-life-method, and I explain what the C14-method is. Finally, let yourself be surprised, what I have come up with for future nuclear energy.]
Short summary
[I chose this project because nuclear energy interests me and I had a lot of different thoughts when I think about it.
The path from the discovery of radioactivity to the present day has been a long one and has involved several catastrophes that have claimed many lives. I find it extremely interesting how people are trying to use nuclear energy for something good, even though the danger of nuclear war is very present at all times.] More...
