C-Project - Survey Question

How often do you consume meat ?

Why do you eat meat ?

What meat do you prefer?

Where do you buy most of your meat from?

Have you ever considered to become a vegetarian ? If so, why ?

Would you go meat free for a day?

Do you think meat consumption improves your health ? and why ?

What might deter you from regularly consuming more meat free meals?

If you were to eat less meat, what would be the primary motivating reason ?

C- Project Task 9: The experience

After a lot of research, documentation, conversations and the survey. I learned a lot and was able to educate other people about the dangers and disadvantages of meat consumption. It's important to be careful with your consumption and be open to alternatives. Because if nothing changes in the future, we will be heavily burdened with excessive consumption.

I was also able to comment on my question regarding health and the changes in the environment. And build up a great deal of knowledge. However, it was quite frightening when you really delve into this topic. Because I don't think many people are aware of how they can damage their health.

One thing to remember: The dose makes the poison

C-Project Task 7 - Team Meeting and communication

On 10 January I had a short phone call with my friend who answered many questions about the health effects of meat consumption. He is not a vegetarian himself, but he is aware of the need to be careful with meat consumption. Here are the questions from the interview with my friend Levin. The answers will be added in the post...

  • What diseases are supported by meat consumption?
  • Can the predominant consumption of meat lead to fatal consequences?
  • Does it depend on what kind of meat is consumed? Are there healthier types of meat?
  • What does meat contain that is harmful to us?
  • Would organic meat be another option or have the same effect?

C-Project Task 5 - Vision and Imagination

This mass consumption is not without "side effects". In this project, I would like to explain the effects of meat consumption. Since meat consumption has a big impact on our environment. The aim is to show that if we stop consuming meat, our environment will improve. The factors of meat production and consumption have a strong influence on this. Which factors play a role in this?

We want to increase the appreciation of meat as a food again. Ultimately, this also raises the question: how much and what kind of meat needs to be produced? We always talk about the quantity consumed, but let's also talk about the added value. If the consumer wants a piece of meat from an animal that has been kept in an animal-friendly manner, that eats domestic feed and is kept in such a way that it remains healthy with as little medication as possible, then that has its price. Appreciation then means that the consumer is willing to pay for this careful and sustainable treatment. If the industry can realise this price, it will also be able to cope if the population does not eat meat every day.

C-Project Task 3 - concept of your project idea

Question:

This is what would happen if we all stopped eating meat immediately?

Introduction

Our food accounts for one third of the environmental impact of consumption in Europe. Production accounts for the lion's share: packaging, transport, storage, preparation and disposal are generally much less significant. Animal husbandry is particularly harmful to the environment: it is very resource-intensive and causes significantly more greenhouse gas emissions than the cultivation of plant-based foods

Topics:

  1. Our world now with meat consumption
  2. Effect on our health without it
  3. Impact on our life togehter
  4. How does it change nature

What are the two guiding questions of my project?

Could the world function without meat consumption and would our society be willing to do so?
