Behaviour in general - honor codex
(Verhaltensweise, Handlungsweise, Einstellung, Grundgesinnung, Ehrenkodex)
- Be respectful. Please respect your fellow students. Debate and pushing on ideas is part of a healthy and thriving learning community, but only when it is done in a polite and respectful manner.
- Be constructive. A learning community is about learning with and through engagement with one another. When commenting on each other’s posts or projects, try to offer constructive feedback and suggestions that help them improve it.
- Be sensitive. There are participants from different cultures and backgrounds. Be sensitive when discussing controversial topics since others may be more sensitive about them than you are.
Project work
- Information about all your actions and steps is absolutely necessary: The teachers E&T have to be informed about all your steps (write it on The Horse, new blog entry for each step, mind the appropriate categories).
- Visits and/or interviews have to be discussed in advance: Before sending an interview request (or visit request) to a company or private person you have to get the teacher's consent [Zustimmung].
- E-mail correspondence: always cc esuter@dontwastemy.energy [Your teacher E&T ins cc setzen].
- Honor code: Assure your interview partners that nothing will be published without their permission.
- Uncertainty: If you are not sure, ask your teacher E&T or write an e-mail or use MS Teams wkvw.
- Categories: When writing posts it's your responsibility to add the appropriate categories (uncategorized posts are lost in the haystack).
