Task 5: Vision & Imagination

Our projectgoal is that people start to shopp plasticfree.

To achieve this, we first need to evaluate how much plastic is currently being purchased and whether people are willing to spend a little more money to buy plasticfree. After that, we will try to sew fabric bags from fabric scraps and send them to our collaboration partners so that they can go shopping with them. Our goal is that even after our project, the people who have participated in our project, read our report, or heard from it choose to shopp with fabric bags etc. and reduce the use of plastic while shopping.

Task 3: Concept

shop judiciously, shop plasticfree

- online plattform for surveys
- material (fabric, glasses,  etc.)
- one difficulty could be, that we have to find some sponsors
- an other dfficulty could be the proper understanding

Goal/Result

We want to answer the following question: How much plastic is wastet for shoppings and how could we avert that?

and we want to show how much unnecesarry plastic we use for our purchases.

Task1: Collaboration partners

We want to find several families in Kerala and a city in Italy and Switzerland who will collaborate with us and only use the produced packaging products for some time.

The culture won't be a big problem because I grew up with the indian culture aswell as with the swiss culture. I know some people in Mala - a small town in Kerala - so it shouldn't be a big problem to find some collaboration partners.

Sustinable packaging

Leara and me would like to find out what packaging alltetnative we have to plastic and how we could produce them.

Then we want to try and produce some here at our school with the help of some other classes. After that we would like to give halfe of the produced packaging products to a village shop nearby and send the other halfe to a shop in Kerala. Then we would like to see how many people would use this products, and if it prevent the waste of plastic
