Idea:
In our project Lara and I want to compare the water scarcity of the canton of Zurich with Kerala.
Tools for the project:
For our project, we are creating a survey that will be filled out by two students from Kerala.
We are also interviewing experts and professionals from the communities to collect our information. We also use the internet for our research
Collaboration partners:
Two students from Kerala.
Mindmap:

How will you build a collaboration team across borders & cultures? With whom?
Our idea was to make a survey in Izmir to find out how the enviromental pollution in Turkey is and how big their knowledge about enviroment is. To compare it to Switzerland we also send the survey to students at our school.
After that we plan to do a collaboration project with students from Izmir.
Last summer in Turkey were many forest fires and because of that we want to plant some trees over there.
Our goal that we want to reach is to plant at least 10 trees in Ismir 10 trees in Wetzikon in spring.
Firstly we created a mindmap to manifest our project idea:

Our next step is to do a short audio-visual presentation.
We'll keep you updated.
Project idea: Tap water in different countries
Collaboration: Emina will talk to her relatives in Bosnia about this and Sandrina will make contact with acquaintances in Turkey. The people there (in Bosnia and Turkey) have already given their consent. We are looking forward to it.
Additionally: We are often in these two countries, which is why we plan to do some tests there and even take water with us and contact a laboratory in Switzerland to have the water analyzed.
Project idea:
Reducing plastic waste
Project partners:
Liranda Kurtesi, Angela Diljak
Collaboration:
We thought of collaborating with our relatives who live in other countries. There should be all ages included. So Liranda is going to ask her relatives in Kosovo and Angela is also going to ask hers in Croatia if they would want to take part in our project.
Expected contribution from the people living abroad:
Since we thought of setting up an online survey, we would like them to take part in it to answer the following questions:
- Are you aware of plastic pollution and the impact it has on the environment?
- How many plastic bottles do you buy/use per week?
- How many plastic bags do you/ your parents use/buy per week?
- Have you seen any documentaries that show the affects plastic waste has on the environment?
- Do you think that plastic pollution affects you or just the environment?
- Do you help at all with reducing plastic pollution?
- How much plastic pollution is there in the area that you live in?
- Do you think the government is doing enough to tackle plastic pollution?
In addition to that, we would like them to make a list with the wrapped food they bought throughout one whole day.

We would like to create a collaboration team on the topic sugar.
We would like to reach people in Germany, so that they can do a self-experiment with us how to life without sugar. Aswell, we would like to do a survey about the topic sugar.
Task 1 c-project
project: sweat money
team: Sarina and Jasmin Schmid (and hopefully soon more athletes :-))
We want to ask the triathlon club "triunion" in canton of tessin, if there are some athletes, who are in favour to take part in our project and burn calories for the environment. We would be happy, if we are going to find two or more team partners from the canton of tessin.
We want to find several families in Kerala and a city in Italy and Switzerland who will collaborate with us and only use the produced packaging products for some time.
The culture won't be a big problem because I grew up with the indian culture aswell as with the swiss culture. I know some people in Mala - a small town in Kerala - so it shouldn't be a big problem to find some collaboration partners.
Nutrition or food consumed in Switzerland
- Processed products and their production (harvest - product in Migros)
- Unhealthy diet
- Sugar (Thematize how many everyday foods contain sugar)
- Additives (chemistry)
- A self-experiment (giving up sugar) is carried out with the collaboration partners. They tell us about their experiences with sugar in their culture.
Eating Habits

How to build a collaboration team:
We already know several people who work in different sectors of the construction industry. After we have worked out a concept and the basic framework is in place, we will contact them. In advance we will send them a small overview of our project so that they already cab get to grips with it.
As our partners come from Switzerland, we have no problems with the time difference. There should also be no misunderstandings about language barriers. It is best to arrange appointments during the working week, as we sometimes have afternoons off, it should not be a problem to arrange this. If it comes up and the knowledge about other cultures is available, we could also include this.
Collaboration partners:
Isabella Zollinger (Architektin)
Sarah Sanchez (Bauleiterin)
Marco Eggs (Geschäftsführer Jansen Architektur)
Christian Eggenberger (Geschäftsführer Bauunternehmung)
Stefan Zollinger (Gemeinderat Tiefbau)
Ralf Stadelmann (Geschäftsführer Sinfla)

I want to do my project with different people, especially with different age groups.
I can achieve this with a survey via social media. I have to make sure that I include my classmates as well, since I am interested in their opinions as well. In addition, I would like to interview someone who is knowledgeable about the "environment". Possibly a student or even a lecturer at a college.
In summary:
- Interview students and adults by survey or conduct oral interview
- Professionals or students who operate in the field of "environment" and own knowledge in this matter
