Tap water - the whole truth
Do you really know what you're drinking?
In many countries you can't drink the tap water, while in switzerland this is everyday life for us. But why can't you drink tap water everywhere, and is it really as healthy in Switzerland as we think? Because of these questions and because we want to sensitize people to such an important topic, we chose tap water as our project.

Amina Sljivar from Bosnia.

Sevim & Cemil Sezer from Turkey.
Finally we've found some laboratory analyze the water for us. The “WASSERKLAR einfach vital” in Bäretswil has agreed to examine the water with us. We will be able to examine the water for pollutants such as bacteria and germs, heavy metals, light metals, pesticides, drug residues, hormones, microplastics, legionella, multi-resistant germs.
We are so excited about it. Even though it won't be early enough (so that we can post it directly in our article) we will update it later and it's still going to be super interesting for us to analyze the water.

Task 18 - c-project
Look at our contribution! Sport, calories and collaboration, these are the main parts of our project. Have fun! :-)

Our project is about planting trees and test the knowledge about environmental pollution of students in Izmir, Turkey and Wetzikon, Switzerland. Are collaboration partners Elif and Reyda. The forest fires in Turkey were the reason why we decided to do this project. We want to plant maple. There will be a post on dontwastemyenergy about our project real soon.
Today our collaboration partner, Babette from the Netherlands, sent us a picture of herself!
This is her:

And here is a picture of us, Yara Zimmermann on the left and Julie de Ruijter on the right:

We heat our house with a heat pump from Hoval.

Heat pump with ground probe (Wärmepumpe mit Erdsonde):
We heat with a heat pump with ground probe. A heat pump with a ground probe consumes the least Co2 and is very energy efficient. It extracts heat from the earth at a depth of over 100 metres.

I sent an email to the administration of our house to ask what kind of heating we have and where the boiler room is located. Unfortunately, I have not received an answer yet. I will add to the post after I hear back from you.
