How did women disappear from the IT industry? Most importantly how can we bring them back?
This is the main question of my thesis. When you think of the IT industry, you think of a male dominated field. But did you know that coding used to be a woman's business? Sadly, over the years the idea that computers are for men has become a narrative.

Project Topic: (9)
The project topic is clear. I knew from the beginning what was interesting to me.
Team-building: (5)
Since I am not very good at group work I decided to be my own "team". I already chat with my aunt and a few other IT-students about the IT Industry and will start interviewing them soon.

Achieved: We have been very productive today, we have published our survey, developed an instagram poster and created the mind map. On the flight altitude we would be now 20 000 m high :-)
Our techer informed us about the topic, but I am not ready to fill the this survey.
In progress...
In the beginning, we had some difficulty in determining an exact theme. Then, when we informed our partners in Romania, we could start.
A new difficulty will be that since Andrei will no longer come to the BMS, the communication with his friends in Romania will suffer somewhat.

Targets for 4 February:
Today, as a team, we want to do more research and collect the information.
We want to look specifically at the environmental impact of manufacturing and the costs incurred there.
Kerstin and Elena's target from 04.02.2022:
Todays goal is to send the interview questions to our collaboration partner in Spain. He will send the answers back in a memo. We also want to analyse and summarise the answers from the architect in Switzerland. After that we will start to analyse the survey answers and create diagrams of the answers.
My current 'flighthigh' is in Switzerland and Romania. I am always in contact with the people in Romania. As a next step, I will send out the survey.
