The comparison between plastic and glass bottles
Plastic bottles have the edge in transport thanks to their lighter weight. However, glass bottles can be refilled more often than plastic bottles. So both are in a neck-and-neck race here. Green glass bottles are particularly environmentally friendly because they consist of up to 90 per cent recycled material. With white glass, the figure is only 60 per cent. The PET bottle comes off worst in terms of recycling, with 30 per cent recycled per bottle. However, there is still eco-potential here: the recycling share could be increased to up to 50 per cent.
The stumbling block in the eco-balance of the glass bottle is its production: the energy required to melt glass is very high, but the bottle can be reused up to fifty times. The PET bottle requires less energy to produce, but can only be refilled 25 times..jpg)
By the way: If a bottle breaks, it should still be returned. The material can still be recycled.
In the end, the difference between glass and plastic is hardly worth mentioning! The important thing is: the main thing is reusable!

Quick facts about David Attenborough:
He is now 95 years old and still trys to help the world become a better place. First he was studying the natural sciences at the University of Cambridge, after that he became a producer at the BBC television. He once said: "I'm not an animal lover if that means you think things are nice if you can pat them, but I am intoxicated by animals.” His lifestyle was not like all others he was interested in the nature and the animals they live on mother earth. Naturalist and television personality David Attenborough is the undisputed father of the modern nature documentary.

Cosmetics
The earliest documented origin of cosmetics is in ancient Egypt. Back then cosmetics were made from various mixtures from natural mineral pigments, various oils, water or animal fats. It was also common that both men and women used cosmetics – it was used to wade off evil spirits.
Fertilizers
Mineral fertilizers contain important plant nutrients such as:
- Nitrogen
- Phosphorus
- Potassium
But fertilizers containing minerals with phosphates are found to be toxic.
The toxic component is called apatite, which is extracted to manufacture fertilizers.
Apatite itself is not toxic but can become so if it is contaminated with cadmium, which, unfortunately, is frequent.
These toxins get washed away from the fields by rainwater and pollute rivers and streams.

Question:
This is what would happen if we all stopped eating meat immediately?
Introduction
Our food accounts for one third of the environmental impact of consumption in Europe. Production accounts for the lion's share: packaging, transport, storage, preparation and disposal are generally much less significant. Animal husbandry is particularly harmful to the environment: it is very resource-intensive and causes significantly more greenhouse gas emissions than the cultivation of plant-based foods
Topics:
- Our world now with meat consumption
- Effect on our health without it
- Impact on our life togehter
- How does it change nature
What are the two guiding questions of my project?
Could the world function without meat consumption and would our society be willing to do so?

How to build a collaboration team:
We already know several people who work in different sectors of the construction industry. After we have worked out a concept and the basic framework is in place, we will contact them. In advance we will send them a small overview of our project so that they already cab get to grips with it.
As our partners come from Switzerland, we have no problems with the time difference. There should also be no misunderstandings about language barriers. It is best to arrange appointments during the working week, as we sometimes have afternoons off, it should not be a problem to arrange this. If it comes up and the knowledge about other cultures is available, we could also include this.

I want to do my project with different people, especially with different age groups.
I can achieve this with a survey via social media. I have to make sure that I include my classmates as well, since I am interested in their opinions as well. In addition, I would like to interview someone who is knowledgeable about the "environment". Possibly a student or even a lecturer at a college.
In summary:
- Interview students and adults by survey or conduct oral interview
- Professionals or students who operate in the field of "environment" and own knowledge in this matter
