2. reduce (reduzieren):
Reduce the use of harmful, wasteful, and non-recyclable products, use the minimum amount required to avoid unnecessary waste. Creating as little waste as possible is the best solution for the environment. However, waste cannot be avoided completely. However, when buying products, you can make sure that they have been manufactured under good conditions for people and the environment and that they produce little waste. Some of these sustainable products are marked with seals of approval.
3. reuse (wiederverwenden)
It simply means switching up disposable items for reusable and permanent alternatives. Single-use plastics have created a "throw-away" culture by normalizing consumer behavior of using materials once and then throwing them away. You should use products as long as possible - that is, until they really break. The longer the life cycle of a product, the better it is for the environment.
4. recycle (das Sammeln &(teilweise) Wiederverwerten von gebrauchten Gegenständen & Materialien als Rohstoffe für neue Produkte)

5. rethink (überdenken)
Before buying anything, you should carefully consider whether it’s really needed. We should ask ourselves: How is this product produced? Why should I consume that? Is it wasteful?
