My advice: Make it easy for you and the readers, i.e. the name of the link should be as short as possible but include enough information about the final source (e.g. title of the article or document and main website).

Palm oil production - harmful to people, animals and rainforest:
It is not the plant itself that is the problem, but the unusually high demand. In Indonesia, rainforests that are among the last remaining habitats for orangutans are being cleared for palm oil. But in other countries, too, the forests that have to give way to palm plantations provide habitats for many unique animals.

Rainforest deforestation also contributes to climate change. Trees are known to produce oxygen and store carbon dioxide. Thus, clearing releases harmful gas and a vital source of oxygen is lost. In addition, the conversion of peat soils to plantations produces enormous amounts of greenhouse gases.

General tips:
- Replacement tip: When buying palm oil, remember that you can also use sunflower oil, which does not need a tropical climate to grow and thus makes such measures superfluous. However, it is also sufficient to reduce the consumption of palm oil, because a complete replacement of the fat by other vegetable oils would not make sense from a global point of view.
- Replacement tip: Cook and bake yourself more often with fresh, unprocessed foods, as palm oil is often found in convenience foods.
- Health tip: Pay particular attention to palm oil-free products when buying food for children, as these can be particularly harmful for children.

Lunch time
Most students don't take lunch with them. They spend money to eat out or sometimes they buy their lunch at grocery stores like Coop or Migros and so on.
Now why would that affect the environment?
It's because buying lunch produces a lot of plastic waste. Salads, joghurts, berries and more all come in plastic packaging.

How can we reduce the use of plastic packaging?
We should bring our own utensils and reuse the things we bought as many times as possible.
We should also bring our own reusable bottles.

Create a butterfly garden or bird sanctuary. it's so fun and you can learn something from it. On top of that it looks very nice.

How about starting a vegetable garden at home?
It's fun, yummy and on top of that good for the environment.

Air pollution is already a serious issue. It is responsible for numerous diseases and deaths.
To prevent this, the Swiss government has already taken various measures.

Many supermarkets use plastic packaging to wrap their products. As we all know, this is not very helpful for the environment. To counter this, many stores have introduced alternatives. One example is the online store Lyfa.

A lot of schools still waste too much paper. That isn't environmentally friendly.
Digitization should be promoted and fewer books should be used and no more copies should be made
The idea is to make an experiment: halfe of the class digitalises and the other halfe makes it the old way. -> How much paper can be saved?

It is a normal process that trees lose their leaves in autumn, but do we really know the exact reason?
A wonderful time, when the leaves become yellow, orange and red and fall down to the earth. Lots of people love the beautiful sight of this leaves.

Potable water, also known as drinking water, is water which is fit for consumption by humans and other living beings. But is there enough potable water to support a population of 8 billion people?

Is there enough potable water in the world?
There definitely should be enough potable water on earth.
Places that lack enough water always have this problem due to location. For instance, being located in an area without a lot of readily available water to be treated or living in a community too poor to develop a good supply of water are possible issues.
