The school needs a lot of paper, that is not sustainable.
How can you change that? Fortunately we have digitization.
For example in the ÜK i am going, we don't use a single sheet of paper everything is digital.

One of the most effective thing for our environment a person can do is avoiding products from animals. From farm to fork meat productions requires a lot. It starts with the water and crops (Felder wie z.B. Maisfelder) an then the transport of the meat. The amount of grain feed for meat production is a huge factor of the deforestation for exemple in Brazil.

Low nutritional food is considered as unhealthy. We call it Junk Food.
Junk Food contains few vitamins, minerals, fiber (Ballaststoffe) and amino acids. Junk Food has a lot of sugar, salt, fat and often chemical additives. Because of that it disturbes the formation of new nerve cells in the brain. It is not only harmful to our body. There is also a large amount of packaging that ends in the ocean. Also the products have a long transport route.

No calories and not a gram of sugar. Actually, Coke Zero should be very healthy. In any case, many believe it is.
According to recent studies, however, this thesis is very shaky and there are many substances that Coke contains that could cause long-term damage.
For example, soft drinks like Coke Zero lead to unhealthy belly fat and obesity.
The synthetic sweeteners are also suspected of upsetting hormonal balance. Long-term studies have found that girls who regularly consumed light drinks had their periods earlier.
However, there are healthy alternatives such as
Unsweetened coffee
Unsweetened herbal tea, green tea and black tea
Tap water and mineral water
Tap water or mineral water with a dash of fruit juice

There are many people that say that atom energy is better for the climate than other energie sources. We looked up different articles about excactly this topic and came to the conclusion:
You can save a lot of co2 - output with atom energy with only the production of the energy but the problem is the whole build up around nuclear power plants that causes a lot of co2 emission.
Another big impact on why our government tries to reduce the production of nuclear energy is the danger that comes with it.

Being hungry means more than just missing a meal. It’s a debilitating crisis that has more than 820 million people in its grip, with millions more now under its threat due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Why did I chose to write about this subject?
I chose to write about this subject, as it is and will be a very current topic. I as well am interessted in how the the Pandemic reinforces this worldproblem.

#global-hunger
Hunger is a perilous cycle that passes from one generation to the next: Families who struggle with chronic hunger and malnutrition consistently go without the nutrients their minds and bodies need, which then prevents them from being able to perform their best at work, school, or to improve their lives.
What effect is COVID-19 having on the global hunger crisis?
As Coronavirus, or COVID-19, continues to spread around the world, it is now reaching countries most vulnerable to the health and economic impact of the virus. People fleeing conflict, living in poverty or without access to healthcare face greater risk from this pandemic.
Our response to COvid-19
In response to the crisis, there are foundations where we can donate to. Foundations which are focusing efforts on protecting health, which includes public outreach, clean water and sanitation services. Teams that are on the front lines, meeting immediate needs such as cash distributions to provide families with food, soap and health care. Human heros, which strengthen economies by supporting smallholder farmers and small businesses through this crisis.

Cruises are becoming more and more trendy. Thousands of people together on a giant ship, going from place to place. Sounds like fun. But how funny is that for our environment.
Only imagine that a week’s holiday on the ship produces 1.5tons of CO2.

Fast fashion
In this project we want to talk about the impact of fast fashion. Most people want to buy lots of clothes to be trendy but almost no one knows the consequences of it.

We create a lot of waste by buying clothes that we don‘t need. And a lot of times those clothes are made in bad conditions. Also, the making of clothes uses a lot of water and produces a lot of chemical waste.
What can we do against fast fashion, so it doesn‘t affect the environment?
We should buy clothes that we actually need and check the conditions in which they were produced.

The glaciers are melting because of global warming.
Global warming affects not only the glaciers but also us humans.

IKEA advertises it's sustainability, but how sustainable is this company really?
Maybe I could do an interview face to face or just with an e-mail interaction with the IKEA Dietlikon and ask them how sustainable they are for real.
To be honest I think IKEA is very sustainable, but who knows ;)

My goal is to find out how the state is working on climate change. To do this, I also want to find out what it will do in the future.
