At my home we use crude oil heating. But in a few years we want to switch to a PV System.
Below you can see two pictures. I don‘t know a lot of our heat source.

At my home it looks similar like this picture.

This will be our target for the next years.

In our house we heat with convection heating. The air is taken from outside, heated and released in the house. When it gets too cold outside, we heat electronically.
However, we also have a fireplace where we burn wood from time to time in winter and heat the living room.

Imagine the wold without fast fashion...
Isn't it interesting to understand how fast fashion works? When did people start to care about this? I believe that fast fashion consumers are mostly youngsters who follow trends. Trends which are made from celebrities. Without those celebrities fast fashion couldn't exist.
Would it make a difference if fast fashion wouldn't exist? Yes. Of course it would. Fast Fashion impacts our Lifestyle, our environment and our health. A world without fast fashion could possibly be a happy world.
Why? No need of following trend means no need to have to prove anything to anyone, a free mind is a happy mind. Our environment wouldn't be so damaged from all the gases from transport and lastly people wouldn't suffer from standards which they have to reach nor comparisons with celebrities just to find out they won't ever be like their so called idols.
With this project we want to show every side of fast fashion. I feel like we can draw a lot of peoples attention.
Reflection Task
The whole project came out just as expected. I still think the world would be a better place without fast fashion. Now that I've researched the subject further, I've found out terrible things that were even more inhumane than I already thought.
Our team has become more and more united and we had a good time together. It was nice to always be able to talk openly and honestly.
Finally we finished writing the text for the post on "the horse". Our medias are also collected and ready to be shared.
For example we have a interactive learning tool in a PowerPoint Presentation, we did a Survey, we also have two audios of recreated answers to questions.
What is my heat source?
In our house we heat with a wood stove that is located in the kitchen.
That is our only heat source and we don't have anything else.
Our house is a very old one and that's the reason we don't heat with solar energy or electricity.
Task 2
We have an outdated heating system at home that runs on oil. Because the oil costs are extremely high, we never heat it in the summer. Another way would be to use less energy would be to ventilate the house.

Soumaya
We heat with different radiators on the one hand we have a photovoltaic system (solar panels) on our roof, on the other hand we have installed two years ago a geothermal probe which was dug into the ground. In addition, we use our fireplace from time to time in the winter, which also provides heat, but honestly is used more for aesthetic reasons.
Photovoltaic system
Short definition:
A photovoltaic system, also PV system or solar power system, is an electric power system designed to supply usable solar power by means of photovoltaics. It consists of an arrangement of several components, including solar panels to absorb and convert sunlight into electricity.

Geothermal probe / deutsch = Erdsonde
Short definition:
A geothermal probe is a geothermal heat exchanger in which a heat transfer fluid circulates. In contrast to the horizontally laid geothermal heat collector, the pipe system is inserted into a vertically or obliquely running borehole. With the geothermal probe, heat is extracted from or supplied to the ground.

--> We started drilling in our garden about two years ago (picture). The company "Heim" has installed it, so we have a sustainable heating resource.

Fireplace:
Usually we are useing burning firewood to heat our living room in the winter. However, we use this rather rarely, because as already mentioned, it is more used aesthetic wise.

Today I finally finished 80% of my project. My draft on wordpress is almost done.
All I am missing is:
- Picture Material (Header)
- Interview Chrysa
- Upload Transcripts
- Overview of Ada Lovelaces Biography
While I was searching for a comic for my contribution on dontwastemyenergy I found the comic artist xkcd.
His comics are centered about IT, Nerds and sometimes about more general stuff.

This is the comic that summed up my project perfectly.
One ton of recycled plastic saves 5774 Kwh [teacher's note: it's kWh] of energy
- With 5774 Kwh, you can brew and drink 404‘180 cups of coffee
- You can blowdry your hair for 5774 hours
